STEVE “ZETRO” SOUZA Says He Was Fired From EXODUS

Exodus not too long ago break up with longtime vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza and introduced their reunion with frontman Rob Dukes. On the time, Exodus issued a press release saying that they had merely parted methods with Souza and that they wished him all one of the best.

“Announcement! Exodus have parted methods with Steve ‘Zetro’ Souza,” wrote Exodus on their Instagram on the time. “We thank Steve for his years fronting the band and all of the killer music we made throughout that point. We want him solely one of the best sooner or later and far success with something he does.

“And please assist us welcome Rob Dukes again to Exodus! We’re past stoked to have Rob again ripping up the stage with us and he is trying ahead to crushing every thing like solely he can. Subsequent chapter begins, new report rolls alongside as deliberate and the beatings will proceed.”

Whereas Souza hasn’t issued any prolonged assertion on the break up, he did reply to some feedback on Instagram saying he was fired. When requested why he by no means issued a press release by one fan, Souza responded (through Blabbermouth): “Actually no assertion, I used to be let go, for those who learn the [band’s official] assertion it says Exodus has parted methods, not Zetro has parted methods!” Souza responded to a different fan asking an analogous query, saying: “I didn’t depart, I used to be let go!! Exodus parted methods with Zetro.”

Souza had just a few stints with Exodus over time between 1986 and 1993, from 2002 to 2004, after which once more from 2014 to current day. Dukes fronted Exodus in Souza‘s absence between 2005 and 2014, and sang on Exodus‘ albums from Shovel Headed Kill Machine in 2005 to Exhibit B: The Human Situation in 2010.

Exodus is about to have fun 40 years of their debut album Bonded By Blood this April with two Bay Space exhibits; The exhibits characteristic Demise Angel and Nukem because the openers for each nights, with Blind Phantasm as a visitor on the primary night time and Hirax on the second night time.
